Annika Navarro is a genre-bending vocalist, performer, multi-instrumentalist, and private voice instructor. Annika has an extensive background singing classical art song, choral, musical theater, contemporary rock, mastering all styles. Currently completing a degree in Performance with specializations in the Business of Live Music and Vocal Pedagogy at Berklee College of Music, Annika has a wealth of experience and knowledge of her craft.

A soprano and expert of high belting in contemporary genres, Annika’s vocal ability surpasses the standards of singing and blow away audiences with curated skill, stage presence, emotional connection, and musical professionalism.

Annika has been performing regularly from the age of 15 and is a graduate of Maryland’s Academy for the fine arts with a focus in vocal music. with years of experience in Musical theater productions, rock shows, choral juries, classical recitals, and cross-medium artistic performances. Since then, Annika has expanded her audiences to Boston, Massachussetts and Providence, RI with original sets put together for local bills in the New England region.

Annika has been a songwriter since early adolescence, and has expanded into new worlds. She has written, produced, and released Debut Ep “I love you, come home'“ in 2023, as well as releasing original music with Alternative Rock Band “Atticus”. Annika writes lyrics deeply inspired by the feminine experience, time, change, and anything that speaks to her.

Annika grew up as a contemporary dancer in childhood, and always felt deeply moved by music. Her musical influences trace back to the 90’s art pop/rock of artists kate bush, cher, adam lambert, arvil lavigne, and evanescence. Annika used to take her mom’s old mp3 player and listen to playlists with these artists’ music on repeat over the years, and developed a personal musical style derived from these artists. in recent years, annika’s music is deeply inspired by vocal ability and sonic energy of paramore, lyricism of jensen mcrae, and alternative production of slow pulp and quinnie.

Annika’s musical abilities lie far into live performing, and she continues to step up stage experiences with each live appearance. Annika dives deep into music for the purpose of live performing, raw vocals, and pure authentic energy.

Behind the stage presence, annika is a true lover of vocal anatomy and physiology. A perpetually curious learner, annika sought out vocal pedagogy as an exploration into mastering vocal control across styles. however, upon beginning to study the topic, annika fell deeply in love with the reward of teaching others to sing. today, annika is a working performer, recording artist, and extremely passionate voice instructor.
